What goes on the door
Every commercial vehicle over 10,001 lb GVWR that crosses state lines must show the carrier's legal name and USDOT number on both sides of the power unit. Interstate for-hire carriers add the MC number.
Letters must contrast with the paint and be readable from 50 feet in daylight — we cut at 2 inches or larger, sized to your door.
